Woippy Aero-Engine Works near Metz

Virtually all buildings in the target area were damaged, and all rail lines seem cut in at least two places at the Woippy Aero-Engine Works in France, near Metz, as shown by this 8th AF recon-naissance photo. An aircraft engine repair site and a Manufactory for aircraft engine components when the plant was attacked on 18 August 44.
