War patterns in French fields

Strange warlike patterns in the one-time fertile fields of France, and a network of roads cutting across the field were left by the motorized corps of the American armies invading the French beachhead. Vehicles can be seen at dispersal points as well as taking the advantage of natural concealment. The strange designs left by motor maneuvers are seen impressed around slit trenches and foxholes out of which the German defenders were driven. Security 3d. sur Pub. Relations JAN 11 1945
