FEEDING 'ROOS....WAC PFC Naoma Van Steenberg of Burt, Iowa enjoys a day off somewhere in Australia at one of the local Zoos. PFC F. M. Copeland of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, joins her to feed bread to the kangaroos. One of the first WACS to be assigned to the South-west Pacific Area, PFC Van Steenberg arrived in Australia with several hundred other WACS on 12 May 1944.
