A radio equipped Vultee L-5 of the 9th A.F tactical air liaison section with the U. S. Third Army reports on enemy targets during a flight across the Rhine. The tactical air liasion section coordinates and directs the use of Republic P-47 Thunderbolts of Maj. Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg's A.F. in eliminating obstacles holding up U.S. ground forces.
