at Villacoublay Airfield near Paris, direct hits damaged or destroyed all the buildings on one repair site plus destruction of five hangars by the 20 May 44 attack of U.S. 8th AAF heavies. Previously hit on 5 Feb 44 this major repair base for FW 190s and Ju 88s also had three hangars severely damaged and many smaller buildings damaged in varying degrees.
