Usually combat fliers are congratulated, here it is turn-about as M/Sgt Rollin L. Davis, crew chief of Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, "Nine-O-Nine", is the center of attention after a combat mission. Sgt Davis, who holds bronze star medal in recognition of superior mechanical maintenance of his bombers, has sent his bombers on practically every one of the 200 missions flown by the group.
