US Air Service command donates to Russian prisoners

Drawing from their own Post Exchange rations, men of Base Air Depot No. 2, U.S. Air Service Command, collected 4,000 packs of cigarettes and 6,000 bars of candy, to be donated to repatriated Russian Red Army prisoners awaiting return to their homeland and the fighting front. T/Sgt. Winfield L. Rees, Vivian, La., gives a light to Lt. Sergei Biernikov, for the first cigar the Lt. has ever smoked.
