Two Divisions Were Moved To China From Burma In Dec

Two Divisions were moved from Burma to Kweiyang, China in Dec. 1944 and Jan. 1945. The air movement of 25,491 Chinese and American soldiers, 1,596 horses and mules, 42 jeeps, 48 75mm Howitzers, 48 42 mortars, 48 75 A/T guns and miscellaneous supplies and equipment was accomplished in 24 flying days, involving 1,351 sorties.
