Tomahawk Warrior engines at completion

Old and new engines of the "Tomahawk Warrior" rest side by side at completion of first stages of full change. German fighters 20 mm cannon shells knocked out two of the engines during 24 May 44 Berlin mission, while overstrain at full power finished off remaining two which brought the bomber home safely. Ground crew men are removing and washing salvageable parts in gasoline, and putting other finishing touches on new engine before installations.
