This is the picture of his captured friends Lt. Cameron saw in a German newspaper in Greece. He says the first two men are Cpl. Homer E. Jones, Slaton, Tex., and S/Sgt Wilson S. Leon, 272 Bellfield Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. To the left, behind, is Cpl Reginald C. Lyons, 3603 Wille St., Houston, Tex. The soldier back of and between Jones and Wilson is Cpl Orville Kingsberg, 2830 39th Ave., S., Minneapolis, Minn. Lt. Cameron was unable to identify the man whose lower face is hidden by Leon's shoulder. The German caption, which claims seven Allied bombers were shot down over Salonika, calls the prisoners "North American terror fliers" and identifies them as survivors of crews of the downed bombers. The inhabitants of the city view the march with cold disdain, the Nazi newspaper reports. The prisoners, the caption comments, were "completely apathetic" as they passed the "devastation" they had brought upon "the peaceful Greek people".
