Synthetic oil plant at Brux attacked

SYNTHETIC PLANT AT BRUX --- Black smoke from the many fires started in the synthetic oil plant at Brux belches skyward as U.S. Eighth AAF heavy bombers launched a heavy attack there 12 May 44. A huge explosion was reported during the height of the attack. Hours later fires were still out of control at this large Nazi plant.
