Stretcher Bearers In Caribbean Jungle

Stretcher bearers in the jungle country of the Caribbean area have as one of their hardest tasks the evacuation of wounded from places in the interior. They are usually selected for their size and strength as well as for their knowledge of first aid treatment. In this case, Pvt. Kamstra is the willing "victim" who volunteered to take a ride on the stretcher for the photographer.
