Skytrains in Northern France

EVACUATION BY SKYTRAINS: First casualties arriving in England brought back from a beach head in Northern France by skytrains of 9th AF Evacuation Units. Medical men shown unloading wounded both Allied and Germans. This work of mercy is carried irres-pective of Nationality by Medical Men and Women of the U.S. Army Air Forces. The Sky-trains, landed on and took off from landing strips built hastily by 9th AF Engineers within 24 hours after D-Day. Phot. News Bd JUN 13 1944
