Sheet metal workers of the 480th Service Squadron, 59th Service Group repairing flak damage on the wing of a Boeing B-29 "Superfortress". This B-29 was based at Guam, and after making a strike on Japan was forced down by flak damage to the #4 engine which cut its oil line and damaged the elevator and stabilizer. 11 August 1945, Bolo Airstrip, Okinawa, Ryukyu Retto.
