Shattered by hits from North American B-25 Mitchell medium bombers of the U.S. Army 14th Air Force, a 520 foot vessel of Japan's rapidly dwindling merchant fleet burns amidships and spouts smoke from both fore and aft of the bridge. Later reconnaissance photos showed the battered hulk in drydock at Hong Kong, where it was again bombed, the Mitchell's scoring a direct hit. 341st Bomb Group, 11th Bomb Squadron, November 16, 1943
