Recent raid on the Dagua airdrome in New Guinea by the Bomber Command

Recent raid on the Dagua airdrome in New Guinea by the Bomber Command of General Kenney's Fifth Air Force. The formation of North American B-25 "Billy Mitchell" bombers caught the Japanese stationed here unawares and took a tremendous toll of Jap aircraft and other equipment. As the bombers reach the end of the airstrip they begin climbing away. The last two parachute bombs are dropped on two Zero fighters which evidently were in the process of taxiing to a take-off point on the runway when our planes came in for the strike.
