from a combat mision in which he shot down 3 planes. Capt Walker Mahurin, age 24, of 927 W. Wildwood, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, top scoring fighter of the 8th Air Force who's squadron's goal of 100 planes before Christmas was reached on Nov. 5. He scored 2 triples out of the total enemy aircraft to his credit, he knocked down 12 planes by Nov. 30th.
