Railroad car at Siena railyards

Hanging as if by a thread, the Axle and wheels of a railroad car seen here, were blown into the ceiling of a building when bombers of the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces attacked the railyards at Siena, in central Italy, in a successful attempt to stem the flow of supplies from Northern Italy to the Nazi fighting fronts in the south.
