Rail yards at Epinal damaged

Severe damage to roundhouses, repair shops and adjacent buildings is most evident in this reconnaissance photo of the rail marshalling yards at Epinal, France, taken after the attack by 8th USAAF heavy bombers on 23 May 44. Direct hits partially gutted the goods depot and nearby industrial installations were damaged in varying degrees.
