Rabaul harbor Japanese base

This is a recent U.S. Army Air Forces reconnaissance photograph of Rabaul harbor, big Japanese base on New Britain, above New Guinea. On October 12th, this enemy stronghold received the heaviest air blow thus far administered by Allied raiders.
