Plane crashes in China

China - This plane crashed on 9 July 44 on take-off for a mission. The plane lifted slightly near the end of the runway then crashed. All but one of the crew of eight were killed. The survivor was only slightly injured. The rest of the squadron took off through their fallen comrades and smoke, and continued a successful mission.
