Pilots at 14th Air Force Processing Center

These pilots, all members of the 449th Fighter Squadron, 51st Fighter Group, 14th Air Force, have their records checked at the 14th Air Force Processing Center in Yankai, China, prior to returning to the United States. They are, standing, left to right: Lt. W. H. Bordner of Canton, Ohio; Lt. James D. Borge of Reno, Nevada and Lt. Kent L. Copenhaver of Brownsville, Texas. The men and officer seated at the table are 14th Air Force Processing personnel who necessarily must remain in China to speed the return of veterans to the States. They are, left to right: Sgt. Clarence M. Russell, Jr., of Winchester, Virginia; S/Sgt. J. J. Zaloskus of New York City and Captain S. W. Wray of Santa Clara, California, Adjutant of the 449th Fighter Squadron. 10 October 1945.
