PFC Jenson at Douglas Aircraft

This impressive shot shows Pvt 1st Class Alfred E. Jenson, 27, 3908 42nd Ave., Minneapolis, Minn., checking the final tags on the assembled fortress engines. A graduate of Roosevelt High, Minneapolis, PFC Jenson worked for Douglas Aircraft, Los Angeles, Calif., before his entrance into the Army. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jenson, Route 6, Box 596, Phoenix, Ariz. The formal transfer of a British Repair Depot to the United States 8th Air Forces Service Command took place somewhere in England Wed 22 Oct 1943.
