Paratroopers jump in Markham valley

From one of the lowest altitudes ever attempted in battle, paratroopers jump among the trees and 12-ft. high kunai grass of the Markham valley. There were no fatalities and injuries were confined to bones broken hitting trees. 503rd Parachute.
