Parachute over Comiso Airfield

The parachute attached to the landing gear, which has just been released from the glider, opens, and drifts toward the Comiso Airfield. The landing gear has been dropped so that the glider will make a skid landing when it reaches its destination during the 52nd Troop Carrier Wing maneuvers in 1943.
