P51 Mustangs over Northern Italy

North American P-51 Mustangs, used as Tactical reconnaissance planes for the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces, wing their way in formation, to their objective in Northern Italy. These swift unarmed fighter planes have been partially responsible for the successes of Allied Forces by spotting enemy concentrations and activities.
