P-51 Mustang over German-held Europe

Before the P-51 Mustang fighter pilot returning from a flight over German-held Europe has had an opportunity to dismount from his plane, the ground crew has already rolled up the gas truck for refueling. After a check-up by the eager ground crew, the ship will be ready for a repeat performance. That is how the 8th AAF is able to maintain the new and ever increasing relentless bombing of Hitlerized Europe.
