Ordnance men tighten the detonator and adjust the arming wire of "fire bomb", an auxiliary fuel tank which has been secured to the bomb rack of a Republic P-47 and filled with a mixture of gasoline or Diesel oil and Napalm. 333rd Fighter Squadron, 318th Fighter Group, Saipan, Marianas Islands, 26 July 1944.
