P-47 Pilots In Germany

After returning from the first fighter-bomber mission flown from an airstrip in Germany, a IX T.A.C. squadron leader relates results to his group commander and commanding general. The P-47 pilots destroyed 20 locomotives, 80 rail cars and 23 motor transport, killed 50 German soldiers and fired a roundhouse. Left to right: Capt. George E.
