P-38 Pilot in North African Invasion

Capt. Lloyd K. De Moss, 516 Delzell St., Shreveport, La., P-38 Lightning pilot, member of the first American fighter group to see action in the North African invasion, 14th Fighter Group, 5th Wing, also took part in the Tunisian Campaign, the bombing of Partellaria, the Sicilian Campaign, has been awarded the Air Medal, 9 Oak Leaf Clusters, and has been recommended for the Distinguished Flying Cross. He has to his credit 3 ME-109's, 1 FW-190, plus 1 ME-109 probably destroyed.
