Osterfeld Railroad Yard explosion

1st Lt. Edward R. Johnston, Reynolds, Ill., North American P-51 Mustang pilot from a Tactical Reconnaissance Group. Took this shot of the Osterfeld railroad yard containing nearly 1000 mixed cars and six locomotives. Explosion and large oil fire were caused by shelling by heavily artillery pieces of Advancing American ground columns.
