Officers at front lines

This is chow time for a group of officers and men who are operating liaison planes at the front lines to spot artillery fire and locate targets for the ground forces. They are: T/Sgt. William S. Stevens; Capt. Charles I. Lawerence; Lt. R. E. Smith; Lt. Pete Daly; Lt. Charles G. Blitch; T/3 James H. Petterson, and T/5 Walton.
