Northern Ireland orphans in transport plane

Surprised and somewhat frightened were these Northern Ireland orphans as they taxied up and down a runway in a transport plane. They were among fifteen blitz youngsters who were guests of American technicians of Lockheed overseas Corporation. Left to right, they are, Robert R.; Albert Q.; Jean T.; Annie, and Miss Netta Heslip of the Belfast Council of Social Welfare. April 1943.
