Nazi convoy in Yugoslavia

This pretty country estate in Yugoslavia provided the scene for one of the many minor air battles of the war, as a short Nazi convoy was caught by fighters of the desert air force on the highway in front of the home. Two large half track trucks have probably been damaged by the strafing attack, while another vehicle is burning and is completely obscured by smoke. The small passenger car was undamaged. Planes of the MATAF lend support to Marshal Tito's fight against the Germans by attacking enemy communications in Yugoslavia. 1 April 1945.
