Naga Village in Burmese Jungles

A Naga village was nestled in the Indian jungles. Because of the necessity of being on the alert constantly against fellow headhunters the Nagas built their houses high off the ground; the door is reached by a ladder which is withdrawn at night - the roofs are padded with leaves and the floors are covered with woven bamboo.
