England - Flying in a Mustang group led by Lt. Col. Everett W. Stewart, 300 Rogers St., Abilene, Kan., which accounted for seventeen German aircraft destroyed, three probably destroyed and six damaged, this flight (four planes to the flight) accounted for six ME 109's and a locomotive. They are shown a few moments after the mission, an escort sortie to southwest Germany. Left to right: Lt. Lee C. Mendenhall of Anahuac, Texas; Lt. Ray S. Morris, 5233 5th Ave., So.
