Men board train at Scotland

On the platform, the train guard, ticket collector and a U. S. Transportation Corpsman shepherd the men and their bulky equipment aboard. This is one journey they will all agree is "Really necessary". This train will take them to Greenock, Scotland, where they will board the Queen Elizabeth for the voyage home. In spite of their bulky equipment and the hot sun, the prospects of home and loved ones will keep those happy smiles on their faces all the way.
