ME 109 over Germany

EXIT OF GERMAN PLANE - A Nazi ME 109 fighter goes down in flames after losing to an Eighth Air Force fighter in an encounter over Germany recently. Here are three pictures from the gun camera of the victorious American fighter plane. Picture No. 1: German plane hedge-hops in an attempt to escape the withering fire. Picture No. 2: Flames burst from the enemy ME 109 as bullets strike wings and fuselage. Picture No. 3: Disintegration of the German craft begins and pieces of it become lodged in the wing of the American plane.
