Martin B-26 Marauder over Ventimiglia

Winging out to sea, this Martin B-26 Marauder of the First Tactical Air Force, leaves behind a smoking bridge at Ventimiglia, on the Riveria Railway. On the wing and fuselage of the plane can be seen the insignia of the French Air Force which is flying marauders in a successful effort to strangle German communication lines in northern Italy.
