Marines enter LCM at Borgan Bay

United States Marines of the 1st Marine division enter the ramp of an LCM through the surf of Borgan Bay while on a patrol which took them some 2000 yards back of the lines in what was then still Japanese held territory. Patrol party was transported through Jap defense perimeter by amphibious tank along the shore, then transferred to the landing craft for the patrol push down along the shores of Borgan Bay.
