Lt. Merle D

Lt. Merle D. Richey, Dayton, Ohio and Rockway Park, N. J., describes the mission of the day in a letter to his wife, Mrs. Sheila Richey, Rockway Park, N. J., before turning in for the night. The next day he will be ready for another combat flight. A veteran of 46 combat missions, Lt. Richey destroyed more than 200 motor vehicles during the week of March 14-21, 1945.
