Lt Joseph Scott after Brunswick attack

More fortunate, this casualty is able to smoke a cigarette as he is carried away from his bomber after returning from an attack on Brunswick, Germany. He is Lt. Joseph R. Scott, Wellesley, Mass., Navigator of the bomber named "Los Angeles City Limits." He had been slightly injured in the back by enemy flak and left the plane unassisted but was ordered to a stretcher by the Flight Surgeon.
