Lockheed P-38 in China Theatre

1943

The Lockheed P-38 "THE GOLDEN EAGLE" has been doing things to the Japs in the China Theatre of operations, since 1943. It is one of the oldest fighter planes in combat for the 14th Air Force. Left to right, are: T/Sgt. V. DeVito of Canton, Ohio and Captain Billy M. Beardsly of Refugion, Texas, painting another bomb on the side of the plane.
