Lockheed P-38 at English air base

Just before this picture was taken, the pilot was buzzing the field at an English air base in violation of all rules. He got away with it safely once. Then he came in again at 100 feet, full throttle. This time, on pulling out, the pilot tried to put his Lockheed P-38 into a loop and crashed. Not to mention what he did to himself, this pilot messed up an important runway. Eighty per cent of such accidents are due to plain dumb carelessness.
