L-5s loaded into C-54 at Kadena Strip

Kadena Strip - L-5 at the final stage of loading by the 11th Airborne Division into Douglas C-54. The tail is lifted and then the nose is placed on a lift and raised and guided into the plant. Two L-5s were completely loaded into this one C-54. Equipment was then flown to Atsugi Airstrip, Japan, where it was used by the 11th Airborne. Okinawa, 30 August 1945.
