Jules Pfloug in Houffalize

Jules E. Pfloug, 61-year-old resident of Houffalize, Belgium, cited 9th AF Thunderbolt and Lightning fighter-bombers as chiefly responsible for driving the Germans out of their big forward base in the Ardennes. Mr. Pfloug was the first citizen to re-enter the town after Tactical Air Power and ground artillery made possible the entry of American troops.
