JU 88 base at Rheims bombed

Under this American made smoke screen lies the JU 88 repair base and airfield at Rheims in occupied France. Smoke and flame rise from the heavy concentration of bombs dropped by 8th AAF Flying Fortresses on their March 28th attack, when they hit hangars, workshops and barracks there. Enemy fighter opposition was nil.
