Strafed and Bombed

Strafed and bombed, three Jap cargo vessels burn after an attack by 13th AAF Liberators. Japanese attempts to ship in supplies and ammunition for the 200,000-man garrison trapped in the N.E.I. have virtually come to a halt as a result of the "Jungle Air Force's" daily patrols. This attack, made at Metasiri, South Borneo, was carried out by B-24s from the 13th's Long Rangers group.
