One of the last South China Air Bases of the 14th Air Force. It was evacuated and blown up 19 November 1944 under the pressure of Japanese advances in central and South China, both from the Liuchow area on the North and the West river area from the East. A North American P-51 "Tiger" is shown in its war paint, before the base was evacuated. W.A.P. 514
