Hitchhikers in China

Hitch-hikers of the 14th Air Force in China, are given a ride into town in a Chinese horsecart due to the lack of motor transportation. The army runs regular buses into large towns from the fields but most men get there by thumbing their way and are usually picked up by jeeps, staff-cars or trucks.
